A Message to My Girls

In this life, we find ourselves discovering the future we once thought was so far out of reach. Tomorrow is here and today is already in our past. Life is short and each day passes like a wave crashing on the shore.  Make the good times count…and never let anyone bring you down.

The world is filled with jealousy.  Alone, you may be washed away. But together, we will stand strong in life as long as we have each other.

Girls, hold my hand and never let go. As we grow older, we will always have each other. Thank you each for holding my hand somewhere along the way when I was facing a wave of my own.  I hope you will reach for my hand when your own wave threatens.  To the world you might be one person, but to me you are the world.

All of us girls…old and young…near and far…Hold onto special memories of good times we’ve shared.  We’ve had our share of hard times when our friends were there to make us feel better.

We’ve shared our hearts…our time…our secrets…our fears…Our hopes and our dreams.  Someone will always be prettier…someone will always be smarter…their house will be bigger, they will drive a better car, their children will do better in school, and their husband will fix more things around the house. So, let it go. Be happy! And love yourself and your circumstances.

Think about it…The prettiest woman in the world can have trouble in her heart…and the most highly favored woman on your job may be unable to have children…and the richest woman you know, sure she’s got the car, the house, the clothes…but she may be very lonely. And the word says, “If I have not love, I have nothing” So again, love you!  Love who you are.  Look in the mirror in the morning and smile and say, “I am too blessed to be stressed, and too anointed to be disappointed!”

“Winners make things happen, Losers let things happen” Live, laugh, love, and be loved. Make every day count like it’s the last  No matter what happens and where life takes you, don’t forget where you came from and always remember the one’s who helped shape you into the beautiful person you are today.

Girls, I promise to always hold you in the middle of my heart forever and that each of you will be blessed with a life filled with love, health, and happiness always. Remember, even if all of our biggest dreams, wishes, and fairytale’s don’t come true; one thing is for certain… We will always have each other. And is the greatest happy ending of all. Wishing you all a happily ever after.

We live in a world that is constantly changing at such a fast pace that if you forget to stop and look, it might just pass you by.  In this life, there are no second chances or going back in time.  If we have dreams and desires, we need to do everything in our power and our will to go after them.  Life is too short.  The time to make a difference is here and now.   Someone that I hold very close to my heart, once told me that the key to  being successful is simply being discovered.   Explore what you are good at and what sets you apart from everyone else.  Do not be afraid to share your amazing skills with the rest of the world.  Right now, you have the potential to be anything you want to be and do anything you dreamed of doing.  The answer lies in your ability to take action and to make something happen.

 

This world is filled with so many endless  and vast opportunities.  They surround us every single day as we go on living our normal lives.  We all have the special gift of being who we are, that makes each of us unique.   Right here and now, take a brief moment to realize who you truly are and what you can do to share your gift with the rest of the world.
